Oral Medicine Clinical Services

The Tertiary Care Oral Medicine Clinic provides primary and consultative services related to the diagnosis and non-surgical management of primary mucocutaneous lesions, oral manifestations of systemic disease and other conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial region. The clinics central goal is to enhance oral health and improve the quality of life of our patients.   All providers in the Tertiary Care Oral Medicine Clinic are members of the faculty of the UTHSCSA Dental School, have advanced training in oral medicine, and are board certified by the American Board of Oral Medicine.   Our oral health care team works closely with other medical and dental providers in managing a variety of mucocutaneous conditions including but not limited to:   Apthous stomatitis Dry mouth Lichen planus Candidiasis Herpetic infections Phemphigoid Pemphigus Erythema multiforme   We accept referrals from physicians, dentists, individuals and family members.   The Tertiary Care Oral Medicine Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of the UTHSCSA-Dental School at 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, TX 78229.
